We chose our wedding venue, Yarra Ranges Estate, because we felt at ease with Catherine and Anna and knew they would provide a great service but most importantly none of our guests would go home hungry. Yarra Ranges Estate is where the wedding photography took place.

How we met: Tim and Genevieve got engaged last year in early June. Tim managed to surprise Genevieve (not an easy feat) with an elaborate deception assisted by his brother Peter and fiancé Nina under the ruse of a free holiday in the Yarra Valley, along with a decoy event in the shared calendar in a few weeks time. After a day of wine tasting where Tim was nervously looking for an opportunistic moment, he proposed on bended knee at their accomodation by the wood fire. Genevieve didn’t realise even up to the moment of.

The Proposal: We met over 6 year ago at the lunch table at work. Tim had definitely picked out Genevieve enough to try and sit next to her at the following lunchtime. Tim thought Genevieve was exciting, funny and good-looking with a cheeky smile. Genevieve thought Tim was a wicked smart and funny guy and enjoyed their mutual in-jokes around the TV show Black Books.
