Whitsundays wedding love, Sue said “We wanted a family wedding and family holiday, to celebrate with all our family and closest friends, and decided to combine the wedding and honeymoon into just that. Whitehaven beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, Sue wanted a barefoot on the beach wedding .. so we of course had to go to the very best beach. We chose Hamilton Island for the reception as we wanted somewhere condensed we could all stay and enjoy not just the wedding day, but a whole week.” The wedding photography was taken on Whitehaven beach and around the Whitsunday Islands.

How we met

Whitsunday’s wedding. We actually met through our kids, our sons were in prep together. Years later we both found ourselves single and started meeting for lunches. We already knew each other as friends, but the friendship developed into dating, and then love. Andrew turned up at my house on a gorgeous late afternoon in March 2016 with a bottle of my favourite chardonnay, we opened the wine and were sitting chatting under the gazebo on an ordinary sunny evening … then he dropped to his knee!
