Wedding Day Vue on Halcyon

We chose our venue for wedding day at Vue on Halcyon, because it’s really close to where we live. In fact you can see it from our veranda. Last year I had a lot of serious health issues so the convenience of the location to keep stress down was very appealing, plus it’s a very beautiful venue. Vue on Halcyon is where the wedding photography took place.

How we met: Matt and I first met in 2015 through mutual friends and decided to go on a blind date. I met both Matt and his at the time 3yo daughter Charlotte on the same day. I instantly clicked with both of them and new this was the person that I wanted to have a family with. I loved watching how amazing he was with Charlotte.

The Proposal: Matt proposed Christmas Day 2019. I was so busy watching Hudson opening his presents that I didn’t even realise that he was standing behind me awkwardly with a ring ? it was very exciting and I obviously felt very loved and special.
