Wedding at Langham Melbourne

Gemma and Jeremy held their wedding at Langham Melbourne, Gemma said “We both love The Langham. It’s a gorgeous venue and somewhere we have visited many times. We have a lot of family and friends in different areas of Regional Victoria, so we wanted to pick somewhere central with easy access to public transport and accommodation.” The wedding ceremony was conducted by the lovely Meriki Comito in the Yarra Room at the Langham. We took the wedding photography at and around the Langham Southbank. Gemma wore a wedding gown by Anna Campbell, with make up and hair by Embellish Makeovers. Botanics of Melbourne supplied the flowers for the girls and the amazing cake was made by Cake Passion. Friends and family rocked the afternoon away to the band from Lark Music.

Gemma also said “We met at the end of 2011 through a group called the Latrobe Young Professionals (LYP). LYP is a social group for professionals living and working in the Latrobe Valley in Gippsland. We became good friends first, then started dating in July 2012. Jeremy thought Gemma was an interesting and vibrant person, someone that stood out within the group. Gemma thought Jeremy was smart and caring. Jeremy proposed on 12 Feb 2016 in Las Vegas. We were on our last day in Las Vegas and had decided to go on the High Roller Observation Wheel. We ended up in a pod on our own and mid-way through the trip Jeremy pulled out the ring. He stared at Gemma and asked for her answer, her response: “aren’t you going to ask me the question?”. He then asked “Will you Marry Me?” and Gemma said “Yes”. It was definitely a highlight of the trip for the both of us. We decided to keep our engagement secret until we returned home, which we managed to do quite successfully.”
