Vue on Halcyon wedding day

Vue on Halcyon wedding day, was the first venue we looked at and we knew as soon as we drove up the driveway that this was where we were going to get married! We loved that the vines surrounded the property, the ceremony and reception was all at the one venue and we fell in love with the Chapel (we are no longer getting married in the chapel…due to Covid density limits). Our ceremony will now be an outdoor lawn ceremony, which also looks beautiful with the vines as a backdrop. Also…Vue on Halcyon champagne is amazing! Vue on Halcyon is where the wedding photography took place.

How we met: We were seated next to each other at a High school formal in 2010. We started talking that night, which lead to our first date at the movies a few weeks later and we have been together ever since. I can’t believe that we met at age 16 and now, over 10 years later we are getting married!

The Proposal: James proposed at ‘Wine and Wildlife’ an event at Healesville Sanctuary….where pretty much you look at animals and drink wine (my ideal date). James got down on one knee in a Bat Cave that was dark, due to the bats being nocturnal, but it was lit up with fairy lights. I was in a complete state of shock but have never been so happy.
