The Point Albert Park Wedding

We wanted to get married at The Point Albert Park Wedding. Next to the water, feel in love with The Point when we saw it, and had a really amazing experience with their event manager Vicky. The wedding photography was taken at The Point Albert Park.

How we met

Met on 23rd June, 2012 at our friend (and bridesmaid) Alisa Hood’s 25th birthday at the Richmond Club hotel. Initially didn’t like each other, ended up talking quite a bit throughout the night and having a dance floor kiss later at The Precinct. Matt proposed on 30th October 2016 on the Seven Sisters walk, just past Brighton in the UK. It was only 1 or 2km into a 22km walk along the coastline, and the spot Matt picked you could see all the rolling hills along the water. I think Matt felt pretty nervous, he was up and down on his one knee pretty quickly. I was very overwhelmed, cried a lot.

Our venue provides white chairs for the ceremony / conveniently we will be facing Albert Park Lake. In terms of the reception, the venue has hired 3 long tables for us, however we have spent time making navy blue and white striped table runners, sourcing rose gold geometric vases and buying fairy lights for the balcony. Credit should be given to the florist who will be the one who really makes the room look good.
