The Gables Wedding
The Gables Wedding. Jennifer chose The Gables for the wedding because of its understated elegance, historic charm, classic romance, tasteful furnishings and beautiful garden setting. Jennifer wore a Sophia Tolli dress purchased from Always & Forever Bridal in South Yarra, hair & make up by the Runway Room and flowers from Juliet Louise, Boutique Wedding Florist in Ascot Vale. Kate Wallis conducted a beautiful ceremony in the garden at The Gables and all the wedding photography was taken there too. The wedding reception was celebrated by close family and friends, cake was from Burch & Purchese Sweet Studio in South Yarra and The Baker Boys rocked the night away.

How we met
Jennie started a 3 week contract at Public Transport Victoria where Bryce was working – she didn’t notice Bryce, but he noticed her. When Jennie’s contract was extended Bryce went about getting noticed. He had heard Jennie and another colleague talking about Game of Thrones a lot so joined the conversation, despite the fact that he hadn’t seen it. Clever though, because Jennie offered to watch the season again with him. When it came to planning his proposal, Bryce organised a very romantic weekend away. He knew Jennie doesn’t like surprises so he just gave her little bits of information as they went along. He hired a car to drive to the Yarra Valley where they had lunch at Zonzo, afternoon Tea at the Chocolaterie and dinner in Olinda. While they were at dinner in the Dandenong Ranges, the cottage they were staying in was set up with rose petals, candles and champagne.
As soon as they walked back in the door, Jennie was a bit confused as to why the lights were on. At that point Bryce wasted no time in getting down on one knee and asking her to marry him! Bryce cried, Jennie beamed with happiness and here we are today.
