How we met: We first met in Santorini a the start of a boat tour. We grew fond of each other during the tour. Rob liked Nancy’s strong will and independent nature while also being warm and caring. Nancy liked Rob’s supportive personality and sense of humour. Nancy returned to Switzerland after the boat tour, Rob returned with her and then back home to Melbourne. A very long distance relationship had begun.
The Proposal: Rob proposed to Nancy in Koyao Noi in Thailand overlooking the bay on a stormy evening. Nancy was emotional and ecstatic. After a long distance relationship of many months, it was also a relief to know we would be together.
