Potters Wedding Love
We chose Potters because we had actually been to a family friend’s wedding there and fell in love with the property. We both loved the rolling hills and vineyard. The wisteria courtyard looked magnificent. We felt the venue had everything – a chapel, garden, reception centre and accommodation. It was a perfect having everything and everyone on the one property for the whole day! Potters Receptions is where the wedding photography took place.

How we met: We met in May 2013 at Mid Valley shopping centre in Morwell. Giorgio was working with a family friend, and they were on their lunch break. I happened to be there visiting my mum at her work and we all bumped into each other. Adriana: When I saw Giorgio I thought ‘WOAH! Who is THAT?!”. I thought he was incredibly handsome, had a beautiful smile and he was so sweet. I remember giggling to myself as he was wearing checked chef pants (he was a pizza maker at the time) – NO ONE looks THAT good in chef pants! I was so nervous my whole body was shaking. I’d never felt that before. Giorgio: When I saw Adriana, I thought she was beautiful. She was very welcoming and had a lot of charisma. She was kind and made me feel very comfortable.
The Proposal: Giorgio proposed on 01 July 2018 (4 years ago) at the dinner table over lunch. Giorgio and I share a passion for food and cook together most weekends. Adriana: I remember as we were eating, he didn’t say much. Giorgio is a man of few words; however, this was out of character. I asked him what was wrong and then he proceed with his speech and asked me to marry him. It was a total surprise!
Giorgio: I had been thinking about proposing for a while, but I was just waiting for the right moment. We are both very simple people who don’t like a fuss. When I proposed and she said yes, I felt a huge amount of happiness to begin a life together.
