Rannie & Tim chose Poets Lane for their wedding, because Poets Lane a perfect fit for what they were looking for in a wedding venue. It has beautiful outdoor space for a ceremony in the sun, and the potential for amazing photos in the grounds. Tessa and the team at Poets Lanes have made everything so easy for them and they can’t wait to have our wedding there.

We first met
on First Year Orientation Day at Monash University, Clayton. Rannie tried to put some free hair gel that a sponsor had given us in my hair at the urging of a friend (alex Cook) which I found a bit annoying. It wasn’t love at first sight, but I thought she was fun and someone who might be fun to hang out with.
I proposed to Rannie at Varenna on Lake Como in Italy. Rannie knew the proposal was coming at some point during the trip as she had designed her ring herself. Tim was relieved that he no longer had to carry the ring around, while Rannie was elated to get her ring back. In all seriousness, we were very happy we could tell all friends and family about our engagement and wedding plans (which had mostly been nailed down before the proposal)
