Overnewton Castle wedding
Overnewton Castle wedding was the wedding location for the ceremony of Emir and Lisa. The beautiful ceremony was conducted by Dean Sindoni, who also did the master of ceremonies at Leonda by the Yarra. The wedding photography took place at Overnewton Castle, Leonda by the Yarra and at the Langham Hotel. Lisa’s dress was a tight fitted mermaid style which looked divine on her. The flowers were supplied by Balwyn events. When asked, Lisa said “The amazing appearance of Overnewton Castle and excellent customer service of Leonda by the Yarra is why she chose the venues for her wedding. The wedding reception was a big celebration, in the main function room at Leonda by the Yarra.
Lisa said “We met approx. 3 and a half years ago at our workplace at the time. It was the Hume City Council. Emir still currently works there however Lisa has moved workplace now to Moreland City Council. My first impressions of Emir were that he was too quiet and a little smug lol. I was quite attracted to him however. Got to say something drew me to him and I wanted to get to know him. Thought he was so cute and that in time I could loosen him up a little lol. Thought he was too young and that we wouldn’t last if we started dating anyway, so didn’t give it much thought as a relationship potential at the start.” The proposal “was perfect. I had no idea. Emir proposed to me at the Crown Metropol on his 25thBirthday. I thought we were there to be celebrating his Birthday. We went to dinner, Emir was so quiet and all he wanted to do was go back to our room to watch soccer!!! Lol After a little struggle of me telling him he was crazy to want to go back to the room and not out for a drink on his Birthday, I eventually agreed to go back as it was his birthday and we could do what he wanted. On our return to the room he gave me the key to open the door. I opened the door to music and a room lit with candles. I said “what is going on?” He grabbed my hand, led me towards a box and got on one knee, and yep asked me to marry him. I cried of course and said yes of course lol.”
Emir said the the first time he saw Lisa “she was stunning girl from the moment she stepped foot in the office. I loved her from the moment I met her but never thought I had a chance.”
