Old World Substation Wedding

An old world Substation wedding is what Bianca & Jay wanted. The Substation was one of the first venues we looked at and we were looking for venues that we could have the freedom to use the catering company that Jay works for so he could do the food himself. The Substation was the perfect fit accomodating for this but also was a different space that we could really make the room our own for the day. The wedding photography was taken at the Substation Newport and the Williamstown area.

Jay and I first met about 4.5 years ago while I was working at a local fruit shop and he was a chef at the cafe across the road. I would often supply him fruit and veg etc. Jay’s eye colour caught my attention first, he has beautiful bluey-green eyes. His first thought of me was ‘wow! she’s short!’ Jay re-created our first date so we went to the same restaurant, sat at the same table etc. I was honestly shocked! I didn’t think he would propose not for another few years at least!  The Substation Newport.
