Nathania Springs Wedding Love

We looked at a couple of venues in the Dandenong’s area before arriving at Nathania Springs Wedding Love. We loved the venue but said we needed time to discuss what we liked about each venue. One of the ladies at Nathania suggested we have lunch at the cafe down the road. As we walked in, the song we chose to play for our entrance into our reception was playing over the speakers. We took it as a sign and made the decision then and there to have our ceremony and reception at Nathania Springs. The venue is where the wedding photography took place.

How we met: Lawrence and Mel first met on Tinder and talked for about 6 months because Lawrence lived in Bendigo and Mel lived in Melbourne. We finally met at Bundoora Bowling Club when Lawrence’s bowling club came down for a practice game before the bowls season started. Mel thought Lawrence was very cute and was impressed by his lawn bowls skills. Lawrence thought Mel had a cute smile and was very nice.

The Proposal: Mel had planned a day at the zoo for Lawrence as a surprise, however when Lawrence found out about it, he didn’t want to go. Mel got quite upset and gave him the silent treatment for a few hours. Lawrence had plans of his own though. He took me to Sky High Mount Dandenong. We walked through the gardens together and when we stopped on a bridge, Lawrence pulled out a beautiful ring and asked “Will you marry me?”. Mel, being a complete control freak, said yes and took the ring and put it on her own finger.
