Natalie Paul Wedding at Fenix. Natalie and Paul chose St Mary’s Church in Williamstown because they liked the church and because it was sentimental to them, as Natalie’s Aunty got married there and she was her flower girl. They also chose Fenix in Richmond for the wedding reception, because they liked the brightness of the place. Natalie said “We really wanted something relaxed and it had a nice scenery with floor to ceiling windows & greenery looking out to the Yarra. The event planner also wooed us with some delicious popcorn which was a winner!” The wedding photography was taken at Fenix and around Williamstown.

Natalie and Paul said about their meeting and proposal “The very first time we met was when we were both 17 and at a year 12 school formal. We both went separately and didn’t notice each other until the very end of the night. I remember everyone was leaving the venue and all of a sudden Paul came up to me and commented on my shoes. He said he noticed them and liked them a lot but I was skeptical and thought he was being sarcastic. Later that night we both went to a friend’s after party and started talking. I remember thinking Paul was so hot and really wanted to talk to him. Paul also thought I was hot and was intrigued as he had never seen me before. Our 10 year anniversary was coming up so we booked a short holiday to the Gold Coast and it was the night before our anniversary when Paul proposed. It was the last night of the holiday and we went to a restaurant for dinner. After dinner we went for a walk along the beach, Paul found the right spot and went down on one knee and asked me to marry him. Paul said he was absolutely crapping himself and was so nervous. I remember having no idea until the very last minute when he was acting strange and then i saw him reach for his pocket. I was so surprised, i definitely wasn’t expecting it to happen then.”
