Wedding at Elwood Bathers

Natalie and Glenn’s Wedding at Elwood Bathers ceremony was held at St John’s Anglican Church in Finch Street East Malvern which is a beautiful old church complete with wedding bells and a beautiful tree lined leafy street. The bride arrived in a 1950’s Bentley driven by Always Classic Cars. The reception was at Sails on the Bay which captures our love of the sea. The stunning backdrop at Sails provided a fun night for 95 guests from far and near. The wedding photography was taken at Sails on the Bay and Central Park.

The bride wore a Luci Di Bella couture gown made with hand beaded Italian lace and her mother’s 40 year old vintage veil. The Bridesmaids dresses were made of two tone ivory and pewter silk. The 6 groomsmen wore black self stripe suits and arrived in style in an Enrik Limousine. The theme of the wedding was elegant and classic with white, Ivory and silver. A touch of bright colour was provided by Leanne Simmons Floral designs who created stunning bouquets of colour with David Austin roses.

Natalie said “We met away on holidays and were a summer romance nearly 11 years ago. Back in Melbourne we got to know each other and finally Glenn proposed on Christmas Day in 2014 at the beach where we first met. All of our friends and family were thrilled with the long awaited proposal.”
