Mornington Golf Club Wedding

The wedding reception was chosen at the Mornington Golf Club, for its sweeping views of the bay, where we have spent a lot of time kayaking; and its greenery. We chose the registry office in Melbourne, because we wanted a simple and intimate ceremony. The Golf Club is where the wedding photography took place.

How we met: We organised our first meeting at the beach after work. Jie thought Anthony was endearing with a gentle demeanor. Anthony thought Jie was full of life.

The Proposal: We were discussing life after being stuck home for a week together with COVID, just enjoying some homemade chicken noodle soup… he popped the question, dropped down on one knee, and I almost spat out my noodles! The ring came later in a more romantic setting – at night under the stars.
