Michelle and Jon chose Windows on the Bay, because they both studied Marine and Freshwater Science at uni and have a love for the ocean, so they wanted to get married by the beach. The wedding photography was taken on Mordialloc beach and at Windows on the Bay. Alison McCallum from Life & Times Celebrancy conducted the ceremony overlooking the bay and Jess McCurdy did the Hair and Makeup. Michelle made her own cake as she has her own business, Sugar Crumb Fairy, making wedding and birthday cakes.

Michelle said “We first met in 2003 when I started Uni in Warrnambool and moved into the student residences. Jon was my RA and so was the first person that I met on campus as he had the pleasure of showing me to my room etc. Jon proposed on our 4th anniversary. We were in Bendigo for Easter and so I had arranged for my parents to look after the kids while we went out for dinner. After dinner we went for a walk in the park where Jonty got down on one knee.”
