MCG wedding Jim Stynes Room. Pip and Jason had their wedding at the MCG, Pip said “We chose the Jim Stynes Room at the MCG, because it felt like us. We love our footy. Some people get married in a church because of their religion. And some people see sport as a religion, lol, so why not get married at the MCG.” Pip wore a gown from Ferrari Formal Wear, Hair and Makeup by Sally and Gail from Magical Makeovers and were driven to the MCG by Geoff from Always Classic Cars. Naomi Rose supplied and styled the venue with flowers and in the words of Pip “My florist, Naomi, Just great going above and beyond for me, she is AWESOME!!” The wedding cake was by Cakes by Lisa. The wedding ceremony was conducted by Mike Larkan, who had everyone in stitches and I photographed the wedding at the home and around the MCG.

Pip also said “We met in a pub in Richmond called the Mountain View. Through friends. We got along from day dot. And felt very comfortable around each, we were able to be ourselves, and make each other laugh. The official proposal was August 7th 2016. It was a lovely day so we decided to go down to St Andrews Beach with the kids. And Jase popped the question on the beach. It was funny after Jase gave me the ring, our daughter, Morgan (3yo), starting crying uncontrollably for a good 5 minutes. We were consoling her and eventually she calmed down and told us what was wrong. Her response ‘I want a ring too’. We didn’t have a ring for her on that day, but she will be presented with one on the wedding day.”
