Marty and Alan were married at The Estate Wedding, Marty said “We looked at several wedding venues but for one reason or another one of us didn’t like as much as the other. We were about to sign on the dotted line for Bram Leigh (another beautiful venue) until I saw the Chapel online and had to go and have a look. We knew the minute we walked in that it was the one. Alan would’ve prefered Bram Leigh for photos but the venue is much bigger and suited better to our guest list and band. The staff have been fantastic in the lead up to our day.” Alan Jacobs conducted the wedding ceremony in the chapel at the Estate, under the Chuppah built by Circle of Love. Langdon from Life in Motion videoed the event, the gorgeous magicians at Magical Makeovers took care of the hair and makeup, whilst Bron at Buds n Roses supplied the flowers and cake. The cool cars were driven by 29 Vintage Limousines and H2 Hummer hire. All the wedding photography was photographed at the Estate. Rumours partied into the night.

Marty also said “We met for the first time at a John Farnham Concert in November 2011, when Symona Alan’s cousin invited a group of people to go.
Alan’s 1st thoughts of Marty: Bubbly outgoing personality, smiley and “Single”
Marty’s 1st thoughts of Alan: I’d known about Alan through Symona for almost 12 months before I met him so I knew of him and had seen photos. When I met him, he was quiet, a little shy but I was certainly interested to learn more about him. Our first photo together was that 1st night we met and he put his arm around me for the photo and I still remember how warm and strong his arm felt around me and I knew in an instant I hoped one time soon he’d put his arm around me again….
Alan proposed to Me at our Twins’ Levi & Georgia’s 1st Birthday Party at Croc’s Playcentre (How romantic). During the speeches thanking our guests for all of their support and love through the years, Alan got down on one knee, put forward a beautiful ring and asked me to marry him. I was shocked and excited and our guests were so excited that we spent the next hour of them hugging us and congratulating us we forgot to cut the cake for the Twins 1st birthday. Happy teary people everywhere.”
