Island Bay Ranch Wedding
We chose our venue, We chose Island Bay Ranch Phillip Island because of the beautiful view, we wanted to get married in front of water and the view of the water and hills is stunning. We loved the venue in terms of being able to completely do everything ourselves…bring in our own caterers and the fact that it was a blank canvas for us to set it up exactly how we wanted. We loved that we could have the ceremony and reception all in the one place and that there was accommodation for all of us at the venue. Plus it’s close to home! The Island Bay Ranch Wedding is where the wedding photography took place.

We met at uni in Ballarat. We were doing the same course and were in a few of the same outdoor ed classes together in first year. I thought Jack was a bit of a bad boy when I first met him. We became better friends in second year as we started to go on lots of outdoor ed camps together and were in more classes. We also started hanging out in the same group of friends. In third year I needed somewhere to live and asked Jack and 2 others he was planning on rooming with if I could join in. We were living together and started hanging out and the rest is history.
The Proposal: 9th January 2019 in the Bay of Fires Tasmania.
We were camping and woke up to a beautiful day and decided to go for a big walk along the beach. We saw a pod of dolphins swim by not long after starting. We got to a section of rocks and jack told me to walk around the top instead of through the water. When I got around to the other side he was standing there holding the portable speaker and was playing a song. He then got down on one knee.
I was so happy and excited that he was finally asking!
