Immerse Wedding Yarra Valley

We chose our venue, because we were looking for a rustic but not country vibe, and I had always imagined a winery. I love the Yarra Valley and when we went to view the venue for the first time, we knew that with all the inclusions, and the positive and kind manner of the staff, that this venue suited all our criteria. The accommodation onsite was also a positive for us! A Immerse Wedding Yarra Valley is where the wedding photography took place.

How we met: We met at Fusion night club at Crown back in 2009, when I was out for a friends 18th and Grant was just out with the boys. We were probably not our most “coherent” selves when we met, but my feet were so sore from walking all night so I asked Grant if he would sit with me and we sat and chatted for over an hour and exchanged numbers, and then messaged each other all day the following day.

The Proposal: I had arranged a mid-week getaway in Queenscliff for our 8 years anniversary, and as our actual anniversary falls on ANZAC day, we had dinner at the pub and then I had booked a nice restaurant for the Thursday evening. We had dinner and then both felt full but I was desperate for the Crème Brulee (-my absolute weakness) and so we went up the lookout tower for some fresh air before dessert, and Grant took me by absolute surprise and when I turned around, he was on one knee with the most amazing ring for me!
To top it off, he had worded up the waitress when I had disappeared earlier in the night, and so she caught the moment on camera and gave us some champagne.
