“We met at the Geebung Pub in Hawthorne in late 2011. We were both out having a few beers with our mates and we just starting chatting out in the beer garden & things blossomed from there! I (Dan) took Georgia to Port Douglas for her birthday in June 2016 where I had an elaborate plan to propose to her at cape tribulation beach. We were both wrecked after the flight and the long drive but I subtly suggested we go for a drive to the beach. Long story short with a bunch of American’s distracting Georgia with bush turkeys and not to mention a bus load of school kids trying to interrupt my beautiful speech…I asked her to marry me. She left me hanging for a second then said yes.”
