Footscray Park Bowls Wedding

We looked around at a lot of venues but could not decide on one, they all looked the same. Our vision was to keep it local and what’s more local then around the corner from your house! The tipi tents represent us, we are a little different and like doing things our way. We chose Footscray Park for the ceremony as it is a place we spend a lot of time taking Charlie for a walk and Footscray gardens are a hidden gem. The Footscray Park Bowls Wedding is where the wedding photography took place.

We met in England in a flat share we did not know each other until I moved into the house on a two year working holiday visa. We were good friends for a year before we got together, we enjoyed each others company and sense of humour and we were good drinking buddies.

I was 6 weeks pregnant with our now 9 month old girl at the time. For our anniversary we went to Wye River on the Great Ocean Road. Our first born fur baby Charlie came too. Whilst taking Charlie for a walk on the beach in the morning James got down on one knee and proposed.
