Fenix Wedding
Melanie and Adam “chose the Police Academy chapel because we absolutely loved the interior, beautiful high ceilings and long aisle! It was much cheaper than some of the churches in the city! We chose wedding at Fenix because of its good food reputation and because it’s quite intimate, but still able to fit the number of guests we wanted to invite.” The wedding photography was taken in Melbourne and at Fenix. John from ‘Stu Art’ was on the video, ‘Tastefully your Cake Art’ made the cake and Melanie’s makeup was done by Melinda from ‘make up by melt’ and my hair was done by Susan from ‘Susan Collins Hair Design’. Melanie said “Adam proposed to me on the night we were celebrating our 6 year anniversary. He had booked us a room at Crown Towers. When I entered the room there was a big bunch of flowers sitting on the window sill. Next to the flowers were six little boxes, each representing a year in our relationship. In each box there was a photo of us and a comment on something he loved about me. The last box said ‘don’t worry there is one more’ and when I turned around he was on one knee and asked me to marry me! Whilst this moment had been a long time coming (in my mind) I was overwhelmed by how much work he had put into it. Adam very rarely shows his emotions, but this was one moment where he did!! I was over the moon!”
