Dandenongs Wedding Nathania
Wedding venue in the Dandenongs, Nathania Springs! We’ve both always loved the Dandenong ranges. Ethan grew up in the area and Laura worked in the area for over 5 years. We chose Nathania Springs because of how much it felt like a fairytale come to life. We love all the fairy lights, the greenery and the coziness of the place. Nathania Springs is where the wedding photography took place.

How we met: First met at the beach on Australia Day in 2016, where we were hanging out with mutual friends. Laura remembers thinking Ethan was very cute and wanting to go and talk to him. Ethan was thinking the same thing and asked for Laura’s Snapchat so he could see all the photos she was posting that day. Of course he had an ulterior motive.
The Proposal: The proposal happened while we were in Japan, our favourite country to travel to. We were at one of the lakes at the base of Mt. Fuji on a beautiful sunny day where we had rented out bikes to cycle around the lake. Laura had a big suspicion the proposal was coming this day and was waiting and waiting for Ethan to get down on one knee. He eventually did right towards the end of the day as he pulled her aside and we went up a short trail where we had a great view of the lake and the mountain. Even though she knew it was coming, Laura still burst into tears of happiness and excitement. Ethan felt a little anxious all day as he was looking for the perfect spot to propose and wanted it to be private as he knew that was what Laura wanted.
