Cape Woolamai Wedding
We love the beach at Cape Woolamai and have hiked/walked there a lot, its one of our favourite places to go check out the views. Although we are having no formal reception, we are having dinner afterwards at Beach HQ in Cowes. After a beautiful beach wedding, we thought it would be lovely to sit on the balcony with our select few attendees having dinner watching the sunset. We hope to have a more formal reception once international flights open back up so Chris’ family and friends can hopefully attend. Cape Woolamai is where the wedding photography took place.

How we met: We met through our love of hiking, a group of us all started training for Oxfam and Coastrek whilst all enjoying our fitness journey for several months, in the interim creating a wonderful friendship.
The Proposal: On 10/10/2020 at overlooking Seal Rock and Pyramid Rock from The Nobbies.
Chris: it was nothing close to my original plans as we were meant to be in Europe with my friends and family but, COVID put a halt to that. I wasn’t nervous but was apprehensive as I was worried that the proposal wouldn’t be fancy enough. We already had our wedding date in mind so, I seized the moment after having gone to a bunch of scenic locations around the island already that day.
Tanya: We had talked about it all but at that point I was not expecting anything, we were having a lovely day down at the Island and checking out how the house build was coming along. I was trying to take some pictures at the look out when I was being poked to turn around with Chris on one knee with a ring asking me. It made feel so loved, happy and excited knowing that I was going to marry my best friend.
