Brighton Savoy Sunset Wedding
Jess & Gerry had a Brighton Savoy sunset wedding today. The wedding ceremony took place in the atrium and the reception in the Seaview at the Brighton Savoy. Wedding photography and video was taken on Brighton beach, pier and at the Brighton Savoy. Jessica & Gerry chose Brighton Savoy for it’s relaxed yet sophisticated appeal of venue. The staff were amazing, nothing was too much effort and a true credit to the entire team. The treat of rain subsided and the sunset snuck out. Jessica and Gerry met as many modern couples do, online via Facebook. Jessica put so much effort into the planning of the day and it certainly paid off for her.

The meeting
Jessica & Gerry met 5 and a half years ago when Gerry sent Jessica a friend request on facebook, however before adding Gerry as a friend Jessica did some investigating through best man Jamie!
The proposal happened on a rainy evening in November 2016, Gerry planned to take Jessica out for dinner at SkyHigh however they stopped at a lookout on the way, through dense grass and rain with Jessica wearing thongs Gerry told Jessica he had a rock stuck in his shoe, when she turned around he was down on one knee… and the rest is history! Even their furbaby American Bulldog Zeus gave his blessing when they arrived home to share the news!
Everything went according to plan including the rain holding off for the entire ceremony and reception after a dismal wet morning. As Melbourne weather goes, just because it rains in the morning doesn’t mean it rains in the afternoon and evening! As a result there was some amazing photography and videography taken throughout the entire day and evening that the couple are forever thankful for, with the sunset photos captured at Brighton Beach & Brighton Pier.
