Ballara Wedding Excellence
We chose our venue, Ballara wedding excellence, as it was convenient, affordable and beautiful location with excellent packages. We met at a party. After talking to some friends, she decided to walk into the kitchen and join another conversation. From there, she spotted Glenn and thought he was quite attractive, but thought the girl standing next to him was a girlfriend. To her surprise (and relief) she wasn’t! They got to talking the night away and the rest is history. The fact we could spend the whole night talking was awesome, his gorgeous looks were an added bonus and Glenn liked her happy aura and being very easy to talk to and get along with. Ballara wedding day is where the wedding photography took place.

The Proposal: One of the things that got Glenn through lockdown was researching for engagement rings. About 2 months before Felicity’s 30th birthday, he told his parents and they were thrilled. He called Felicity’s parents via zoom about a month or so before popping the question and stated that he was thinking of asking her to marry him. They both erupted in happy tears. In the lead up to Felicity’s 30th birthday, she was a bit down at the fact that she couldn’t at least celebrate it with her immediate family, who were beyond the 5k limit that was in place at the time. She was secretly hoping that Glenn would pop the question, but didn’t want to get her hopes up. On the actual day, after having zoom calls with some friends over the weekend and high tea delivered to our house, we were sitting out the front when Felicity had exclaimed that the day had gone fast. Glenn thought she was a bit sad and wanted to cheer her up, so he stated he had something else, but he wasn’t going to give it to her until later that night, after the family zoom call! Curiosity got the better of her and, after much persistence, it paid off. Glenn set up the back pergola, poured two glasses of Henkell Trokken and got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. With tears in her eyes and love in her heart, she said YES! We then called Glenn’s parents, who were absolutely ecstatic and his father had tears in his eyes. We then went to have Fish N Chips for dinner (Felicity’s request for her birthday) and excitedly told the young lady working in the Fish N Chip shop. We then had a family zoom call with Felicity’s immediate family. We started the call with her parents slightly earlier than scheduled to break the news and then we shared it with her brothers and sisters in law when they joined in. All were very excited and happy. Once both our families knew, the news was broadcast on social media and to our work colleagues and the rest, as they say, is history.
