How they met;

“Drew and I met through mutual friends that I met whilst travelling during my gap year. He lived in Perth and I lived in Melbourne but we met when he came with his friends to Melbourne for a reunion a year after I met his friends travelling. We had a long distance relationship back and forth between Perth and Melbourne for 1 year and then he moved to Melbourne and he has been here since 2012. Our first thoughts were that we had a good connection but never expected to have a relationship because of the distance but we decided to persevere.
The proposal took place on a Saturday afternoon (March 28th 2015) at our local beach in Mentone. I finished work at lunchtime and had a normal day and then we took our dogs for a walk down to the beach as it was a lovely sunny day and as we were walking up the ramp to leave we stopped at a lookout point and he proposed with a ring.”
