When asked about the wedding, Aira and Victor said “For ceremony venue, St. Marys Ascot Vale was the only one that was still available on a Sunday for our day… But it turned out great! It looks quite unassuming from the outside but it’s really something once you make it through the door. As for the reception, we went to visit the owners of Fenix and they made everything sound simple and elegant. They appreciated our idea to shop around and helped us with everything else we didn’t even know we needed. Once we were told we’d have a room all to ourselves if we needed it, we were pretty much sold.” “Reingard from L’Amour Bridal Boutique; absolutely amazing! We came in and tried to find the ‘perfect’ wedding dress without much luck to start with. There were too many ums and ahs… eventually I (Yes, the husband) found a beautiful dress that was tucked away among the many. Aira tried it on and we both loved it. It needed a bit of tinkering of course but there wasn’t anything that couldn’t be altered to fit.” The wedding photography was taken at St. Marys in Ascot Vale, the Fitzroy Gardens and at Fenix. Memorybox Dj rocked the night away.
Aira and Victor also when on about how they met “We first met in primary school where my wife was taller than me. I remember feeling lonely in a new primary school and she was marking her territory by picking on the new kid! We lost touch after I got into high school and I always seem to have found myself lonely and needing a friend. She was always there for me. The cheeky cute little thing. I was nervous and repeated the lines “would you like to marry me rawr?” over and over in my head. I got down on my knees next to her whilst she was at her newly built computer and nothing! My body knew what to do but my voice ran scared. I gave her a ring box and signalled her to open it. Her reaction was “what do you want me to do with this?” How crushed can a man really get?”
